"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

4815162342108lost here... with a new name. A better name, too. I didn't have any trouble remembering that number, but it was a pain to type it it each login. And DeviantArt won't let me change just the profile name, so I have to resubmit EVERYTHING!
Thank you! I'm obsessed with detail and realism so I like to hear from others that I'm doing a good job with it! About that gas mask... I have abandoned that project, as I bought a real one in Berlin. It's weird meeting another Nathan, I don't come across people with that name very often!

It kinda' makes you think....the old ID makes you think of being lost or blundering around.....the new one might make a peron think of you rising above it all and doing just "swimmingly." Then again, maybe that's just me....lol.
